Introduction

The Egyptian Padel Federation is proud to announce the Season Finale Padel Championship, a prestigious event with a prize pool of 300,000 Egyptian pounds. This championship will be held at the Padel Up Courts from December 21, 2024, to December 28, 2024. The tournament will feature both national (open and amateur) championships, showcasing the top talent in the sport. The following bylaws outline the rules and regulations governing the championship.

Bylaws

1. General Information 

1.1. The national championship and season finale are organized by the Egyptian Padel Federation.

1.2. The tournament will take place at Padel Up Courts from December 22, 2024, to December 26, 2024.

1.3. The total prize pool for the championship is 300,000 Egyptian pounds.

2. Tournament Structure 

2.1. National Championship:

          – The national championship will contain 24 player – 12 teams

 – The top 20 ranked players from the December ranking will pair with each other.

– Two wild cards will be given to juniors.

– The season finale will have 12 teams, Top 4 seeded teams will be qualified directly to the quarter finals, the other 8 teams will play knockouts to determine the other 4 teams who will reach the quarter finals

– Positions from 3rd to 8th will also be determined.

–2.2. Amateur Championship:

 – The top 12 ranked players in the amateur ranking as of December 2024 will pair with each other to form 6 teams.

– It will be played in two groups of 3 teams each. The first and second of each group will qualify for the semi-finals.

2.3. National Finale: 

– Categories include Open, Amateurs, Social, Women, Juniors, and Seniors.

3. Wild Card Criteria 

3.1. Two wild cards will be given to juniors.

3.2. The wild card will be taken from the top 4 players in the junior under 18 ranking from December 2024 ranking

3.3. If a junior has already qualified in the top 20 open players, the next player in the juniors ranking will be taken.

3.4. If a player taken from the ranking apologizes for not joining the tournament, the following players in the ranking will be taken.

4. Eligibility and Registration 

4.1. All players must have an active membership with the Padel Federation.

– Membership is 1200 EGP yearly.

– A one-time membership is available for 250 EGP.

4.2. Players must pay the tournament fees before stepping on the court.

4.3. Registration opens on December 10, 2024, and closes on December 18, 2024.

4.4. All registered players must wear tournament T-shirts.

4.5. Players wishing to have a coach must register the coach during the registrationprocess.

5. Conduct and Discipline 

5.1. Players must respect match timings and arrive at least 10 minutes before their scheduled match.

5.2. Misconduct on the court will be addressed by the referee, who has the authority to take necessary actions.

5.3. Misconduct off the court will be addressed by the Competitions Committee and the Disciplinary Committee, who have the authority to take appropriate actions.

5.4. The referee and tournament director have the right to take any action against any misbehavior that occurs.

5.5. Players who reach the finals must attend the final ceremony to avoid deductions in their prize money.

        5.6. No one is allowed to stand around the court exits.

5.7. Audience and players must follow the instructions of the organizing committee to ensure smooth operations.

5.8. All players must commit to their order of play. If not, a 15-minute walkover rule will be applied.

6. Communication 

6.1. Registration will be through the Egyptian Padel Federation website.

6.2. Draws and order of play will be shared via WhatsApp, the federation website, and social media.

7. Miscellaneous 

7.1. Players must respect all participants, officials, and spectators.

7.2. The Egyptian Padel Federation reserves the right to amend these bylaws as necessary.

By participating in the Season Finale Padel Championship, all players agree to abide by these bylaws and the decisions of the Padel Federation. We look forward to an exciting and competitive tournament.
